Say Your Prayers

June 2, 2014

Hello family!

This week we had an unusual amount of people stop us in the street to ask us questions and stuff. It's the best when other people want to talk to us. Usually it's the other way around haha.

Alejandra stopped us one night because of our accents and was like, "Where are you from?" We started talking and then when we asked her if we could write down her address she was like, "Vengan chicas!" So we followed her around the block through this gate that locks behind us, down this creepy passageway with another automatic lock gate and up a ton of stairs to her lair... I mean apartment. haha

Only as missionaries do we just go into strangers houses like that. Anything to teach the gospel. haha (Don't worry mom. We are always safe).

We taught her and her husband yesterday and when my companion said the opening prayer, MiguelAngel started crying. BECAUSE HE FELT THE SPIRIT! They are awesome.

I'm so grateful for prayer. It's crazy to me that there are a lot of people that have never prayed or don't realize that they can pray anywhere, anytime and we can say what we want! We don't have to say a written out prayer or be in the church. We can talk to God right there in our home. I loved what Sarah said about praying in her letter. It's the coolest thing to teach people how to pray. I'm so grateful that we can talk to God. I can't imagine doing this life without that.

Say your prayers!!
