I read the talk by President Uchtdorf from last general conference about being travelers ("Your Wonderful Journey Home," April 2013). Love it. I´ve been thinking about it ALL WEEK.
Basically, I was thinking about how nervous I was to come to Argentina. SO NERVOUS. I didn´t know what I was getting into, didn´t really know anything... except that there are a lot of dogs and bugs. Both not so good things haha.
Then, I think about how nervous all of us probably were to come down to earth. We knew that Earth was going to be hard and there would be lots of "bugs and dogs" but that it would be the best thing for us. The hard part though is that WE WOULDN´T REMEMBER ANYTHING and we could be born into a family that didn´t have the gospel, or who knows what country we would be going to live in and who knows if we would have the opportunity to EVER hear the gospel.
All of us here are travelers, trying to make it back to our Heavenly Father, and I am SO lucky AND feel SO BLESSED to know that plan! There are people here still trying to figure out why they are here! It kind of stresses me out. I just want to run around and tell everyone, "Hey! I know why we are here! We have it figured out! I can help you!" Well. Basically, that´s what I´m doing here.
Exciting events of this week:
4 people in Relief Society this week!
New Apartment! The past three weeks we have been washing our hair in the spit (just like Epi and Ignacio). We have transfers this week and next week so it´s possible that paradise will only last for three more days...
My companion said "Panic."
Anyway,
Love you all!!!
